We are so excited to be hosting famous British Fashion Designer Zandra Rhodes.  Zandra rose to fame with her dramatic, glamorous and colorful designs in the early 1970’s and has designed clothes for clients as diverse as Diana, Princess of Wales, Jackie Onassis, Debbi Harry and Kate Moss.  We will be showing a video interviewing Zandra on Andy Warhol’s MTV show. (courtesy of The Warhol Museum).  The show was one of the first when MTV launched in the 80s.

On Tuesday, November 8th, Larrimor’s will have a Zandra Rhodes trunk show.  You can meet Zandra in the store and she will personally show you her collection.  Zandra is in town with the Pittsburgh Opera, she has designed the set and costumes for the “The Pearl Fishers”.  If you love her clothing collection don’t miss the opera! —Tom Michael
