Trunk show season is seriously heating up, and this week Larrimor’s is offering three for the ladies.

Starting tomorrow and Thursday (September 25-26) is the Peggy Jennings show. This one is a little different because it’s her fall show. So it’s buy now, wear now. Jennings is a haute couture artist who also does ready-to-wear pieces. Her fabrics are of the highest quality from European countries and everything is produced in her facilities (no contracting to outside laborers). She offers no less than 100 fabrics to choose from for each of her collections to ensure clients get exactly what they want.

Thursday through Saturday (September 26-28) is our Eileen Fisher Focus Event. The focus event is a push from a big brand to shop local (a fantastic idea). Eileen Fisher is a woman who started with four pieces at a boutique show and now has over 900 employees. She understands that things start at a local level, and is continually dedicated to giving back to women. When asked what she’s most proud of in her business, she replied, “I’m most proud of the people. The magic that people create. How creative they are and how much they do without me and how much freedom I have.”
