After a balmy autumn, old man Winter is finally here (although technically not arriving until December 22). For the gentlemen, (and the ladies who may be gift shopping for that special gentleman), we have two amazing car coats from modern luxury outerwear brand, SAM. New York. Both crafted from a fine Egyptian cotton twill that is treated with three layers of a special composition of polyurethane resins. This coating makes this outerwear wind resistant, water repellent and easy to care for (Hand wash or wipe clean with damp cloth). The fabric has also been tumbled to accentuate a distressed feel.

The Velocity features a hidden hood, zip and snap front, shoulder epaulettes, 2 zip welt pockets, 2 flap pockets with side zip entry at hip, left sleeve pencil pocket with zip, a removable neoprene zip front bib for added protection, and 3M thinsulate padding with Schoeller® Phase Change Mesh lining. Schoeller®-PCM™ actively balances out temperature extremes by storing excess heat in warm environments and releasing the warmth later, in colder outdoor temperatures.

The Urban features a removable rabbit liner, which can be removed to convert the Urban into a lightweight coat. It also features a zip and snap front, 2 zip welt upper pockets, 2 cargo pockets with side entry at hip, left sleeve cargo pocket, hidden hood, and shoulder epaulettes.
