Line to love: Ghurka

Handmade in the U.S.A.

Simply put, Ghurka bags are handsome. You look at them and see that they’re perfectly worn-in leather with a vintage feel. They’re ready to travel, and they’re beautiful without being pretentious.

On a more technical level, Ghurka bags are manufactured by artisans and only three materials are used in any bag: full-grain leather, custom-milled twill, and solid brass. The hides are mostly French calfskin, and they’re left in their original state, flaws and scratches aren’t removed to keep the leather in tact and more durable. Hey, flaws are beautiful.

Ghurka is both everyday and travel for the man who doesn’t need shine. Who knows that class doesn’t come from labels, but from a well-traveled and well-worn life. It’s handcrafted by artisans, (the tanning process takes no less than 30 days) and built to last.
