Eton was named the best shirt by Esquire Magazine in 2011, and there’s a reason why. They’ve been around since 1928, and instead of outsourcing products they decided to keep expanding their own factories using the best materials from Italian, French, and Swiss mills. They pay attention to fabric and detail.
Cool fact that I learned about the brand: the model has a scar as a symbolic reference to Eton’s double-stitching, which is the same as a surgeon’s.
The mix of florals and colors, I love. A lot of brands seem to be gearing toward a new type of model also and it’s totally awesome. No more Ken dolls. It’s great to see long hair and a suit.
The really amazing thing is that with their own factory operations, Eton puts out hundreds of products each year. They do a huge range of different shirts and accessories to match.
Time to rethink the button-down, no?
