Escada Trunk Show – Thursday Jan. 31st and Friday Feb. 1st

Escada is one of those brands, the name is so well-known that we can’t imagine it ever didn’t exist in the fashion world. The brand started in the 70s by former Swedish model, Margaretha Ley, because she knew what a woman wanted.

Escada’s merchandise is a more relaxed glamour and it’s brilliant because it’s really suitable for any age woman. The looks range and there’s something for everyone. When I say a wide range, I’m not kidding. The lookbook topped 100 pages. Below are some of my favorites.

The jumpsuit is amazing. You could wear this on a beach vacation or a summer dinner in the city. So versatile and requires no extra effort to be classy and put-together.
I included this because perforated leather is genius for spring. Everyone’s favorite jacket gets lighter. And the pants are casual enough to be comfortable but luxe enough to wear with a blouse.
Classic cut. Great color against a monochromatic look.
Another jumpsuit. This one is almost a gown and the way the pants are cut is so great. There won’t be any unfortunate bunching.
This dress is so easy but so elegant. I recommend this for Kate Middleton to wear while running errands.
Graphic without being too loud or too trend driven.
I saved the gown for last. The appliqué detail. I mean this is black without being just another black dress.

And there  you have it. Some of my absolute favorites. Like I mentioned, I only picked a few and this is a massive line. You’ll have to stop by the trunk show at the end of the month and choose some of your own favorites.
