"Nothing to wear quote"

I wanted to share this website with you before it becomes a book, so that you can say you knew about it before anyone else. It’s called Worn Stories, and I love the concept. Writers submit the tales behind their most remembered or beloved articles of clothing.

Clothing helps us to be the person that we want to be. It gives a sense that we can be anyone. As a work from home gal, I know the importance of getting out of pajamas to be productive.

My favorite “Worn Story” that I’ve read so far on the blog is about a 105 year-old woman, Sadie Mintz, who rented out jewelry as a living. A pair of earrings that she created were on Marilyn Monroe’s Life cover. Can you imagine the stories she has to tell from Hollywood’s Golden Era? They weren’t even real diamonds, yet Marilyn was the epitome of glamour.

Do you feel like someone different depending on what you’re wearing? What’s your own “Worn Story”?
