Each of our closets have seen trends come and go, but the basics will always stay forever. We embrace and reject fashion as we see fit. We take what we see and make it our own. In the midst of making leather leggings your own, there are some things that never change. These wardrobe staples tend to be pieces that I just can’t seem to get rid of. In other words, these most reliable items are the essentials to the perfect wardrobe. With the chillier months in mind, I’ve put together a list of items I just cannot live without this winter. A trusty pair of skinny jeans is an essential piece in your closet. A fitted pair will never go out season. The key is to find a pair that fits you like a glove. For me, it is the 620 by J Brand. I live them, I breathe them, I need them.

This waxed jacket from Barbour is equal parts cozy and chic. It’s the perfect way to put a lavish twist on jeans and a t-shirt while keeping you warm with the velvet trim handwarmer pockets. I plan on wearing this coat all winter long.
