Minimal Style: Nude is the New Black

Who even wears black these days? Put those dark clothes away for the winter and live with minimal style. This season is all about 1,000 shades of nudes. It is the browns, beiges, creams, and everything in between. Nude is the new black!

An all nude color palette is the definition of pure elegance. It is a lifestyle. It can be understated and subtle or very cute boho chic. It all depends how you wear it.

The mix of all nude colors holds certain femininity and looks clean, fresh, and refined. This luxurious choice of shades tends to convey a sense of minimalistic style with tones of glamour as well as bohemian vibes, all while being low key.

To me, the nudes have a sense of grown-up quality to them, especially when worn with a dark, bold lip and expensive looking accessories.

Kim Kardashian really knows how to do the “nude” style well. From the camel Celine jacket, to the Faith Connexion dress, this girl is a true inspiration to minimal style. To top it off, we cannot forget the eye-catching Jimmy Choo pumps. In my opinion, Jimmy Choo does the best nude in the industry!

If draping yourself in flesh-resembling-color is not your cup of tea, perhaps try a pop of beige in your look. After all, sometimes less is more. Nude tones tend to look absolutely stunning paired with denim and whites, making nude the new black.

Adrienne Bailon is a prime example of boho chic. She incorporates a slight pop of nude with the Christian Louboutin Pigalle paired with her J Brand denim. The blue and beige combo is a fabulous one.

One thing is clear, skin is in.
