MET GALA BEAUTS!

The dress code was avant-garde. Welcome to the MET GALA 2017 where co-chair Katy Perry provided the macabre romanticism. Considering this year’s theme “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between” – it is no surprise that they best beauty looks of the evening centered on extremes, embodying the collective balance between exaggerated and poetic.

The invitation called for midsummer night’s anime. Katy Perry and DJ Mia Moretti curated the musical entertainment for the festivities, including performances by Moretti and Margot of The Dolls, DJ Equal, Jesse Marco and a special performance by all-female brass band The Original Pinettes.
