By now, you’ve probably heard people mention the “third piece” more times than you can count. On the off-chance that you haven’t, or if you need a quick refresher, a third piece is an added element to your outfit (aside from, say, your pants, top, skirt, or dress, and shoes) that gives it a little something extra and makes your look feel more styled.

So, why am I mentioning this again now? Because today I’ve rounded up the ultimate third pieces for spring in the form of light jackets. It sounds like a no brainer, but if you don’t have one (or a couple) that you love just yet, I highly suggest adding one to your wardrobe because nothing makes it easier to look stylish this season.

Lighter clothes and flowers in my hands are definitely my go to outfit of the season. The arrival of spring shouldn’t necessarily mean that you should wait with skirts, dresses and lace up ballerinas. Instead of doing that you could take them out from your closet, and learn how to maximize their potential by mixing them with a few other wardrobe pieces. Maxi skirts are really nice for making bohemian-boho looks and that’s the trend I really like this spring. We all know spring morning can be quite chilly, so I’d suggest you to style it with some laced up ballerinas, leather jacket and turtleneck sweater.

Just keep reminding yourself “Today is going to be the start of a great week!” Tuesday’s can be hard….trust me, I know.
