It began with one man with a vision. Alexandre Goetschel dreamt big, and in a humble apron company he saw the potential for a haute couture empire. From the start, Goetschel was determined that ALGO would prioritize the customer’s wishes. From bespoke garments hand-tailored to fit like a glove, to sumptuous fabrics sourced from the finest textile designers in Europe, ALGO was—from its inception—dedicated to perfection. One century later, ALGO hews to our founder’s ideals, while pushing boundaries and exploring modern silhouettes and fabrics.

ALGO of Switzerland stands for loyalty toward their clients, family and co-workers. The Goetschel family has owned and overseen production of the ALGO of Switzerland line for three generations.

The family’s shared vision is simple: they invest in long-lasting bonds both externally and internally. They are proud that their success is due to the devotion of returning clients.

They only use fabrics from Europe. They know all of their suppliers personally and visit them frequently.  They are closely involved in the way they process their material, the kind of equipment they use, and their respect for nature, as environmental sound production is vital to the integrity of Algo of Switzerland.

Maintaining quality requires constant attention.  99 years of meticulous hiring and training, assures that garments will have the attention to detail and persistent quality for which ALGO of Switzerland is known.
